An stylish slide puzzle game for Windows 8
FlipSaw is a Metro puzzle game for Windows 8. Based on the classic sliding tile puzzles, it complicates things with 2 sided puzzles.
FlipSaw looks great, and this tile puzzle game fits perfectly into the tiled look of the Metro interface. There are three difficulties - the basic nine-tile puzzle isn't too challenging, but the enormous hard boards are tough!
You can also make puzzles from your own images, which are easy imported into Flipsaw. Every time you move a tile it filps, so you will always have a mixture of two images to work with. Once each tile is in its correct place, they will all flip to their correct side. Games are timed, but in general this is a relaxed casual game, and doesn't do anything revolutionary with a well known puzzle genre.
FlipSaw is free, and it looks good amongst Metro's tile apps, but this puzzle game is hardly inspiring, and while it does nothing wrong the overall experience is a little flat.
